Next Stop Mars release second single Always and we are obsessed with it.

After supporting Union J on tour, Next Stop Mars have released their much anticipated second single ‘Always’.

‘Always’ came out on the unofficial best day of new music (Little Mix’s single ‘No More Sad Songs’ and Ed Sheeran’s album Divide dropped today too).

The song is more pop-rock then previous single ‘Bad Bitch’, but still has a catchy anthem feel. The song itself was written within the same hour as ‘Bad Bitch’. It has been performed whilst Next Stop Mars opened for George Shelley at his 360 showcase.

Next Stop Mars are currently preparing to tour with Chris Bourne next month across the U.K however, they are releasing the music video very soon, along with another single next month.

The song is a pop punk anthem about a self centred ex, and has an empowering feel to it. We couldn’t help but feel the song has a 5 Seconds of Summer or Avril Lavigne vibe. If you’re going through a bad breakup, we recommend you add this to your ‘I can and will do better’ playlist.

At midnight, Next Stop Mars’ fan base ‘The Martians’ came out in force with an abundance of love for the new single. Many are calling this their new favourite song.

We also agree with the Martians. This is a song that we can’t help but love! The one thing that is present throughout the song is just how talented and together Next Stop Mars are. A mix of Shanel’s beautiful vocals and female empowerment, Denis’ smooth voice and funky bass line, John’s powerful drumming and of course Dan’s out of this world guitar playing.

Next Stop Mars are a shining example of how four individual talents coming together as one is always best. The mission to mars may not have taken off yet, but Next Stop Mars truly have.

‘Always’ is out now on iTunes, Google Music, Amazon Music and you can stream from Spotify.

Next Stop Mars will be supporting Chris Bourne on his Identity tour next month up and down the U.K. Tickets are available here.
